Can the software be accessed on mobile devices?

Yes. Our sites can be accessed on all devices connected to the internet – Phones, Tablets, Laptops, and of course, Giant Touchscreens!

This means that you can attach your touchscreen content to your existing website with a hyperlink. All of this content can now be accessed by alumni, fans, and community members from anywhere in the world. You can display a QR code on the touchscreen to open content. You can also display that QR code on posters, brochures, and flyers throughout your facilities.

Yes. Schools commonly link their Rocket site to their websites. The site can be accessed via a weblink or a QR code. Thus the site is accessible from anywhere in the world.

Do we have to upload every single entry manually?

No! You can use any existing spreadsheet to upload your information quickly in our bulk upload process. The Rocket Alumni Solutions team recently entered the touchscreen recognition market after identifying an unmet need. We thoroughly analyzed every solution that existed and assessed what was good and what was bad. We spoke with hundreds of customers of existing touchscreen companies. Do we need internet?

Yes, an internet connection is required. We recommend a wired ethernet connection if possible, but wifi works perfectly as well.

How long does it take to implement and set up your software?

The site can be ready in under an hour. Data upload typically takes a day or more depending on the amount and complexity.

Can I use your software offline or without internet access?

Internet access is required for initial setup and continuous use. However, if you have a spotty or slow internet connection, the software can still function offline after the initial load.

We do not continuously stream and most content is cached (saved) on your device. Our system intelligently handles this process to minimize network load and ensure that the platform Just Works on all devices from small phones & tablets, to giant 15 foot touchscreens.

Does it cost extra to have the software on multiple touchscreens?

No! You can have as many devices accessing the site as you want. There are no additional costs for multiple devices.

We encourage our clients to link the touchscreen site on their existing website, display posters with the QR code around the building, and post the link on social media.

What is required for this system to work?

All that is needed is a touchscreen display and an external computer module.

If you purchase the Rocket Plug & Play bundle, all configuration of the device will be completed by Rocket.

If you purchase your own hardware, the Rocket team can assist in walking you through the quick & simple setup process.

Yes! There are various different ways to achieve this.

You can display unique landing pages connected to the same data.

Are there limits on how much can be uploaded?

No limits! We provide unlimited storage for images, videos, text descriptions, folders, profiles, audio clips, PDF's, 3D Models, 360 Videos, Virtual Tours, etc.

You can even upload every 400+ page yearbook in maximum resolution.

We will warn you when uploading images larger than 40mb and videos larger than 50mb. Depending on your network upload speeds, these uploads may take some time.

With multithreaded uploads, your files are broken down into multiple smaller chunks and then uploaded to our servers. Four simultaneous connections are built, which means 4x faster upload speed compared to normal. This is just another example of making everything Just Work.

What video formats does Rocket’s software work with?

Hudl, Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, MP3, MP4, and many more.

You simply copy and paste a URL for Youtube, Hudl, Vimeo, Facebook, or other video platforms.

For MP4s, MP3s, Movs, and other file types, you can directly upload it in the video player and it is stored on Rocket's servers. Here is an example of directly uploaded video content.

Do we have to crop our photos before we upload?

No! Our system will automatically crop and resize any types of images. Our layouts automatically adapt to look great no matter what you upload.

On top of accepting any type of media, our system intelligently processes your media. After saving the original image, it will automatically convert the image to various formats and sizes that will later be displayed to your users based on their device type and internet speed.

Who is Rocket’s preferred touchscreen vendor?

Touchwindow.com is Rocket’s preferred touchscreen vendor. We have put together “Plug & Play” bundles that make everything streamlined and easy. When you use one of the “Plug & Play” bundles, the setup time once you have the touchscreen mounted should be 5-10 minutes. Installing the touchscreen is similar to mounting a television.

Who is responsible for installing the hardware?
